Workshop For Caregivers

Southbury — Kathie Nitz, a life and relationship coach who runs her own coaching practice, Strive to Thrive, will be offering the “Caregivers Can Thrive!” workshop at the Kensington Green Assisted Living Facility, 655 Main Street South, Thursday, January 31, from 7 to 9 pm. This workshop will focus on caregiving and helps those who find themselves burdened by their circumstances discover new ways of managing this challenge.

As a caregiver to her mother, Ms Nitz has applied the principles learned in her coaches training and has created a six-step approach to help support caregivers. While the primary focus will be on adult children caring for their parents, all caregivers are welcome and will benefit from this workshop.

The fee for this workshop is $50. Family members of Kensington Green residents are eligible for special discounts.
