Stacy Purcell and Joseph DeJulio

James and Patricia Purcell of North Haven and Philip and Kathleen Carroll of Newtown announce the engagement of their daughter, Stacy Purcell, to Joseph Paul DeJulio, son of Richard and Lorraine DeJulio of Newtown.

The future bride is a resident of Newtown. She graduated from Newtown High School in 1995, and then from Northeastern University in Boston in 2000 with a bachelor of science degree in journalism with a concentration in advertising. She is currently employed by The Taunton Press as the advertising sales associate for Fine Cooking and Fine Gardening magazines.

The future groom is also a resident of Newtown. He graduated from Newtown High School in 1992. He is a crane operator, Local 478 IUOE Member, employed by Marino Crane Service of Middletown.

A September 2008 wedding is being planned.
