NHS Class Of 2000 Graduate

Robert Russell Dean, 25, of the Hawleyville section of Newtown, died early Saturday morning, January 12, from injuries received in an automobile accident in Oxford. He was born in Danbury on April 22, 1982, a son of Alan Dean of Newtown and Sharon (Russell) Dean of Keene, N.H.

Mr Dean attended Newtown schools and was a graduate of Newtown High School, Class of 2000. He was a carpenter and worked with his father in the family business.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by three brothers, Adam Dean of Newtown, Cain Frazier of Maine, and Tate Schwab Dean of Brookfield; his paternal grandparents, Robert and Lilla Dean of Hawleyville; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Mr Dean was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Frank and Beverly Russell.

Funeral services were held January 15 at Honan Funeral Home, Newtown. Interment was private.
