DUI Warrant
After learning that police held a warrant for his arrest, Stephen Girolametti, 43, of Ridgefield came to the police station on January 16 and was charged with four offenses in connection with a serious two-vehicle head-on accident, in which he was one of the motorists on the night of October 3 on Mt Pleasant Road, near Sedor Lane.
Girolametti was driving a pickup truck holding a passenger, which collided with a sedan. All three people involved in the accident were injured.
Police arrested Girolametti on the warrant on charges of driving under the influence, second-degree assault with a motor vehicle, being distracted while driving, and with a travel lane violation.
After posting $100 bail, police released Girolametti for a January 30 appearance in Danbury Superior Court.
Warrant
After learning that police held a warrant for her arrest, Roseann Mason, 47, of 44 Maltbie Road came to the police station on January 16 and was charged with failure to pay wages and with failure to keep records.
Police said the charges stem from a state Department of Labor investigation. Police released Mason on a written promise to appear in court on January 24.
MV Charges
Police report they stopped motorist Jeffrey Peterson, 19, of 7 Bridge End Farm Lane for a motor vehicle violation at the intersection of Queen Street and Glover Avenue about 7 pm January 16.
After investigating, police charged Peterson with failure to use a signal and with driving while under suspension. Police released him on a written promise to appear in court January 30.
