Dorothy M. McClory (nee Adams), formerly of the Bronx, N.Y., and Pearl River, N.Y., died at Pope John Paul II Health Center on January 10. She was born on May 10, 1921, to Katherine and Arthur Adams. Her husband, Cyril L. McClory, predeceased Mrs McClory in 1991.
She had recently moved to Connecticut to be closer to her family.
She leaves behind her daughters, Nancy Carmody and her husband, Jim, of Newtown, Kathy Scully and her husband, Bill, of Mahwah, N.J., and New Fairfield, and Mary Ellen Lupo and her husband, Gary, of New Fairfield; one son, Christopher McClory and his wife, Sandy, of Ontario, Calif.; one sister, Frances Gartland of East Meadow, N.Y.; her grandchildren, Karin Boucher and her husband, Tim, Michael Scully, Paul and Valerie Lupo, Casie Rose Carmody; her great-grandchildren, Daniel, Kiera, and Teagan Boucher; and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in St Edward the Confessor Catholic Church in New Fairfield January 12.
The family has asked that memorial donations be made to Regional Hospice of Western Connecticut, 405 Main Street, Danbury CT 06810.
