NEW BERN, N.C. â New Bern Preservation Foundation Antiques Show and Sale is set for February 11â13 at the River Front Convention Center.
The show opens Friday evening from 5 to 8 with the specially invited, premier vendors from Pennsylvania to Georgia displaying Eighteenth to early Twentieth Century furniture, china, porcelain, silver, art glass, cut glass, ceramics, linens, vintage clothing, jewelry, maps, primitives, folk art and collectibles and so much more.
Saturday the show runs from 10 am to 5 pm with many exciting events throughout the day. Free verbal appraisals will be from 11 am to 3 pm including general by Tom Faulkenberry; glass and porcelain by Ray Arends; primitives and tools by Howie Jenner; glass, porcelain and costume jewelry by Ray Stocks; oil lamps by David McFadyen; art by Larry Johnson; and books by Dick Lore. A presentation by Jenny Hamilton and Bill Layton of Hamilton Thomas Interiors entitled âDisplaying Your Collections Effectivelyâ will take place at 11 am.
There is still more to do on Sunday from 10 am to 4:30 pm. Have dolls verbally appraised by Judy George; glass and porcelain by Ray Arends; primitives and tools by Howie Jenner; books by Dick Lore; art by Larry Johnson; general by Michael Cable; pottery by Barbara Matthews; oil lamps by David McFadyen; and glass, porcelain and costume jewelry by Ray Stocks from 11 am to 3 pm.
