Rehearsals For Choral Society Begin Wednesday

The first rehearsal of the season of Newtown Choral Society will be Wednesday, January 26, at Newtown Middle School. The rehearsal will begin at 7 pm.

Under the direction of Mary Andreotta, the choir will be preparing for “Shakespeare & Love,” a concert devoted to popular music, music from Broadway and art songs. The choral society’s spring concert is generally performed in May.

There are openings in all sections and new members are encouraged.
