A Comedy For Anyone Who Remembers High School, Good Or Bad
DANBURY â Remember high school? Did you love it? Hate it? Are you still in high school?
Anyone who attended or is still attending is sure to appreciate the Broadway musical comedy Is There Life After High School? The play â the next production by CenterStage Theatre â presents the best and worst memories that high school has provided and then concludes with a reunion. The play will strike a chord with anyone who either loved or hated, enjoyed or despised high school.
Is There Life After High School?, with book by Jeffrey Kindly, and music and lyrics by Craig Carnelia, will be presented by CenterStage, the student-run theatre organization that produced the highly-successful âLovers and Other Strangers last winter at the Danbury university.
Is There Life After High School? is being directed by Tony Saracino, and includes a cast of nine WCSU theatre students. The play will be presented at Reimold Theatre (B114) in the Berkshire Building on WCSUâs midtown campus, off White Street.
The show runs Wednesday, January 26, through Sunday, January 30. Performances are set for Wednesday through Friday evenings at 8 pm, and Saturday and Sunday afternoons at 2 pm.
Tickets are $12 for adults, $8 students and seniors. All proceeds will benefit the non-profit CenterStage, to aid in future productions.
