Warrant Arrest
Warrant Arrest
After learning that police held a warrant for his arrest, Anthony Whitlock, 21, of Southbury went to the police station on the morning of January 13 and was charged with evading responsibility, falsely reporting an incident, and traveling too fast for conditions, police said.
Police said Whitlockâs arrest stems from a September 6, 2008, incident in which Whitlock was driving a 1991 Mitsubishi Eclipse that collided with a utility pole near 120 Walnut Tree Hill Road, after which Whitlock left the scene of the accident without notifying police about what had happened. Police found the auto at the scene of the crash.
After processing, police released Whitlock on a written promise to appear January 23 in Danbury Superior Court.
Four Charges
Police said they were doing traffic speed enforcement about 9:15 am January 13 on Taunton Lane, when they stopped motorist Christina Feola, 23, of 6 Glenmor Drive for exceeding the speed limit.
After investigating, police charged Feola with traveling unreasonably fast, driving with a suspended license, failure to return a suspended license to the state, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
After processing, police released Feola on a written promise to appear in court on January 27.
