Frank C. Brosnan, 81, of Stratford, beloved husband of Janet (Lulejian) Brosnan, died January 12. Mr Brosnan was born December 9, 1927, in Manhattan, son of Daniel and Margaret (Durnin) Brosnan.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his four children, including Kerry Brosnan and his wife, Andrea, of Newtown.
He was a World War II United States Army veteran, having served in the Pacific Theater.
Mr Brosnan was the founder and president of MAREC Inc, of Stratford and also worked as a physicist at Handy and Harmon, Bridgeport. He will always be remembered for his sense of humor, his love of learning, and sharing of knowledge. In the spirit of his lifelong dedication to learning, Mr Brosnan has donated his body to the Willed Body Donation Program at the Yale School of Medicine. He was a fixer of anything, a resource of unusual facts and tidbits, and a master of cheesecake.
Funeral services were held January 15.
