Emma Elizabeth Gulla Davis

Beloved Mother

Emma Elizabeth (Gulla) Davis, 95, of Danbury, died January 7. She was the wife of Hubert A. Davis. Mrs Davis was born in Bridgeport, January 3, 1914, daughter of George and Susanna (Mindzora) Gulla.

Survivors include a son, Hubert A. Davis II, and his wife, Giselle, of Newtown.

Mrs Davis worked as a bookkeeper at Bard Parker in Danbury until her marriage in June 1945. She later worked as a part-time bookkeeper at the First Congregational Church of Danbury, where she was also a life member, serving on various boards, committees, and groups.

The funeral was held January 10.
