Audubon Programs

 SOUTHBURY —On Wednesday, January 21, Audubon Center Educator Jim Drennan will give an “All About Eagles” presentation, covering the life history of bald eagles. The program will run from 10 am until noon in the center’s historic barn.

After that the group will carpool to Shepaug Dam to view the bald eagles wintering on the Housatonic River. Registration is limited; call Mr Drennan at 264-5098 or send email to JDrennan@Audubon.org. Cost is $10 per person, or $7 for Audubon Center members.

Then on Sunday, January 25, and again on Wednesday, January 28, the Audubon Center will host a Winter Tree Identification workshop. Sunday’s session will run from 1:30 to 3:30 pm, and Wednesday’s will run 10 am to noon.

 Cost for this program is also $10 per person, or $7 for Audubon members, which includes the cost of a Winter Tree Finder book. Contact Mr Drennan to register at 264-5098, extension 306, or JDrennan@Audubon.org.
