Vacancies On Town Boards

There are several openings on town boards and commissions for persons who are registered Democrats that live in Newtown.

Commission on Aging: One vacancy to serve a three-year term.

Building Appeals Board: One vacancy to serve a five-year term; this board meets only to review appeals of decisions of the Building Department. No meetings scheduled.

Economic Development Commission: One vacancy to serve a three-year term. Board of Ethics: Two vacancies to serve four-year terms.

Water Pollution Control Authority: One vacancy to serve a four-year term.

Constable: One vacancy to serve a two-year term.
