United States Congresswoman Jahana Hayes (CT-05) will host a Congressional Update and Q&A session in Newtown, Tuesday, January 21, at 6:30 pm, at Newtown Community Center, 8 Simpson Street.

During the event, the Congresswoman will deliver remarks updating attendees on her work on their behalf in both Washington and Connecticut. This will be the Congresswoman’s 12th town hall event since taking office last year.

Rep Jahana Hayes has been a public school teacher in Connecticut for more than 15 years and was recognized in 2016 as the National Teacher of the Year. Currently serving her first term in the U.S. House of Representatives, Rep. Hayes sits on the Committees on Education & Labor and Agriculture and proudly represents Connecticut’s 5th District.
