Robert W. Loveland
Robert “Bob” W. Loveland, born May 18, 1948, in New Haven, Conn., died January 5, 2019, in Andover, Kansas.
He grew up in Sandy Hook, where he lived until he was 21 and joined the service. He attended Hawley School, Sandy Hook Elementary, and Newtown High School.
Bob was a husband, father, grandfather, adventurer, cowboy, ten year’s Army veteran, retired maintenance supervisor of 30 years at Advanced Products, hobby farmer, and a man who always left quite an impression on those he met.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Esther Loveland, and brother, Keith Loveland. Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Sheryl Loveland, daughters Lisa (Brian) Kilmer and Laura (Justin) Hamilton, nine grandchildren, and brothers Russell and Ralph Loveland.
Celebration of life party was on Sunday, January 13. Military Honors and burial at Kansas Veterans Cemetery was on Monday, January 14, at Winfield Veterans Cemetery, Winfield, Kansas.
