Norwalk Man Arrested On
Child Pornography Charge
On the morning of January 6 at Danbury Superior Court, Newtown police served an arrest warrant against Clive Young, 47, of Norwalk, charging him with one count of possessing child pornography.
Young was then arraigned in court on the Class D felony, police said.
Police said that Youngâs arrest follows an investigation that started last March. Police declined to provide details on their investigation.
Detective Jason Frank is the investigator in the case. Det Frank specializes in investigating Internet-based sex crimes.
Young is being held at the Bridgeport Correctional Center on bail on three other unrelated pending sex charges, all of which are felonies. Danbury police arrested Young on those charges last March in connection with offenses he allegedly committed in August 2008. Young has pleaded ânot guiltyâ to those three charges.
Young is scheduled to appear in court again on January 20. Young has not yet entered a plea on the child pornography charge.
