The Newtown High School boysâ swimming and diving team topped Oxford 95-66 on the road on January 12. Newtownâs top finishers were as follows:
200-yard medley relay: First: Dan Hufziger, Nick Lafky, Luke Fiore, and Conor Donnelly, 1:52.42. Third: Nate Crevier, Harrison Buzzi, George Delia, and Abben Hung, 2:02.68.
200 freestyle: First: Michael Hubbard, 2:05.48. Second: Tom Mascher, 2:12.70.
200 IM: Second: Hufziger, 2:22.81. Third: Kyle OâConnor, 2:26.42.
50 free: First Donnelly, 25.20. Third: Patrick Milano, 25.53.

The Nighthawks will return to action January 19 for a 4 pm meet with Pomperaug. Note: The meet, originally scheduled to take place at NHS, has been moved to Pomperaug in Southbury.
