Friends At The Crosswalk

To the Editor:

I was walking home from school one day, and I am waiting to cross at the new crosswalk right across from the middle school. No cars were stopping but a fire truck did and even when he stopped no one else did. So he honked his horn and then the next oncoming car stopped. So then I crossed and everyone in the truck was smiling and waving so I did too.

I just want to thank them all and I hope this letter will help people learn to stop at a crosswalk.
