A December 25 report about Finance Board’s deliberations on bonding for a Fairfield Hills demolition and parking lot development incorrectly identified Herb Rosenthal as being first selectman when the project was first approved as part of an operational leaseback arrangement in 2008. Mr Rosenthal was serving as a Democratic selectman at the time.

Because of incorrect information originally provided to The Bee, an online report posted January 6 about pending Ethics Board business incorrectly stated that former chairman Peter VanBuskirk opted to not seek another term. According to Mr VanBuskirk, he was ineligible to serve because of imposed term limits for Ethics Board members.
