NHS Information Session

For Eighth Grade Parents

The School Counseling Office at Newtown High School will be hosting information sessions for all parents of incoming freshmen — the Class of 2015 — on Tuesday, January 18, at 7 pm.

This night is intended to be an overview of the course selection process, the NHS schedule, and an introduction to what freshman year will be like. There will be a 30-minute presentation and an opportunity for general questions and answers. The event is different than the Parent Student Orientation that is scheduled for March 3. The Parent Student Orientation will be a night of formal presentations by the administration and all of the department chairs.
