Networking Event Will Teach ‘Bold Presentation Skills’

NORWALK — Entrepreneurial Woman’s Network’s (EWN) Morning Workshop in February will be “Bold Presentation Skills for Entrepreneurs” with Gilda Bonanno. The full-breakfast buffet event will take place from 8:15 to 11:15 on February 4 at the Norwalk Inn & Conference Center, 99 East Avenue.

Bold presentation skills are an essential competency for successful entrepreneurs. Developing a successful brand, marketing expertise, and building a strong client base all depend on the ability to communicate in a confident, engaging, and persuasive way.

In this interactive and engaging session, attendees will learn how to:

*Develop and communicate self-confidence

*Use powerful body language (voice, gestures, movement, and eye contact) to connect to their audience and convey meaning

*Keep audience attention by relating relevant and engaging stories

*Practice presentation in order to express a clear and concise message

*Convey a level of knowledge and passion that results in a presentation that is distinct and memorable, for all the right reasons

Ms Bonanno is a speaker, trainer, and coach who helps people improve their presentation and communication skills by combining extensive business experience with a background in improvisational performance and a belief that with the right training and practice, everyone can become a more effective communicator and leader.

She is president-elect of the Connecticut chapter of the National Speakers Association (NSA-CT) and immediate past president of the Southern Connecticut chapter of the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD-SCC).

Cost to attend this event is $23 for members (an additional $5 “walk-in” fee for members if not preregistered) and $29 for nonmembers; includes a full buffet breakfast. Registrations are accepted on a “space available basis” and must be made online at www.ewn-ct.org.

For more information, contact the EWN Administrator at 203-222-3404 or EWN’s website www.ewn-ct.org.
