Networking Event Will Teach âBold Presentation Skillsâ
NORWALK â Entrepreneurial Womanâs Networkâs (EWN) Morning Workshop in February will be âBold Presentation Skills for Entrepreneursâ with Gilda Bonanno. The full-breakfast buffet event will take place from 8:15 to 11:15 on February 4 at the Norwalk Inn & Conference Center, 99 East Avenue.
Bold presentation skills are an essential competency for successful entrepreneurs. Developing a successful brand, marketing expertise, and building a strong client base all depend on the ability to communicate in a confident, engaging, and persuasive way.
In this interactive and engaging session, attendees will learn how to:
*Develop and communicate self-confidence
*Use powerful body language (voice, gestures, movement, and eye contact) to connect to their audience and convey meaning
*Keep audience attention by relating relevant and engaging stories
*Practice presentation in order to express a clear and concise message
*Convey a level of knowledge and passion that results in a presentation that is distinct and memorable, for all the right reasons
Ms Bonanno is a speaker, trainer, and coach who helps people improve their presentation and communication skills by combining extensive business experience with a background in improvisational performance and a belief that with the right training and practice, everyone can become a more effective communicator and leader.
She is president-elect of the Connecticut chapter of the National Speakers Association (NSA-CT) and immediate past president of the Southern Connecticut chapter of the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD-SCC).
Cost to attend this event is $23 for members (an additional $5 âwalk-inâ fee for members if not preregistered) and $29 for nonmembers; includes a full buffet breakfast. Registrations are accepted on a âspace available basisâ and must be made online at www.ewn-ct.org.Â
