Centenarian Passes Peacefully
Elizabeth A. Ogden, 100, formerly of Norwalk and Wilton, died peacefully, January 7, at Danbury Hospital. She had been living alternatively with her two daughters since the spring of 2006. Mrs Ogden was born in Philadelphia September 23, 1910, and moved to Norwalk as a child with her parents, Lawrence and Josephine Straub.
 She is survived by her two daughters, Thurley Ogden Burns of Newtown and Kathleen Ogden Meyers and her husband, Peter, of Redding; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two nieces. She was predeceased by her sister, Helen Miner of West Hartford.
She graduated from Norwalk High School in 1928 and lived in Norwalk until the 1950s, when she and her husband, Edson G. Ogden, moved to Wilton, where she lived for more than 50 years. Mrs Ogden was predeceased by her husband of 54 years in 1987.
Private funeral arrangements will be by Magnerâs in Norwalk, at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours, and interment will be in the spring at Union Cemetery, Rowayton, Conn.
