Theresa S.      Marcello Easter

Theresa “Tessie” S. Marcello Easter, 75, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of the late Rennis Easter, Sr, died January 10 at Bridgeport Hospital. Mrs Easter was born in Bridgeport, and had been a lifelong resident.

Tessie is survived by her devoted son, Rennis “Pete” Easter, Jr, and his wife, Rose; a grandson, Michael Easter, all of Newtown; her sister, Marie “Mamie” Johnson of Bridgeport; and several nieces and nephews.

An avid bingo player, she was a state licensed bingo caller, and affectionately referred to by her late husband as a true “Bingo Nut.”

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10 am in the Redgate-Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull, with the Rev Lucille Maye officiating. Interment will follow in Park Cemetery, Bridgeport. Visiting hours were scheduled at the funeral home Thursday, 5 to 8 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the United Home Hospice, 40 Lindeman Drive, Trumbull CT 06611.
