Special Screenings Of âIndigoâ Planned
DANBURY â Trinity Productions is planning a special series of screenings of the film Indigo on Saturday, January 28. The film will be shown at 1, 4 and 7 pm.
Indigo is a film about redemption, grace and the healing powers of a new generation of psychic and gifted âIndigoâ children.
The movie tells the story of one familyâs three fateful choices that result in bankruptcy, jail and their estrangement and total dissolution.
Through the healing and psychic powers of the familyâs youngest member, Grace, a ten-year-old âIndigoâ child, the family finally has a chance.
The film is Stephen Simonâs directorial debut, and it was co-written by James Twyman , who also served as the filmâs Executive Producer, and Neale Donald Walsch, who also stars in the film.
The film was shot in 20 days in Oregon in 2003, on a $500,00 budget. It was made from start to finish within eight months and completed just ten days before the 4th Annual Santa Fe Film Festival in December 2003, where it won the Audience Choice Award.
The screening will take place at Maron Hotel, 42 Lake Avenue Extension.
The film is being released in theaters on January 29, but Trinity Productions is joining hundreds of churches and organizations across the country in offering special showings of the movie prior to its theatrical release.
It is being presented by Trinity Productions, an interfaith nonprofit learning center. Tickets are $10, and seating is limited. Call 426-9448 or 845-279-2763 for reservations.
