Moms Groups
Newborn to 12 months â Tuesdays, 10:30 to 11:30 am beginning January 25
Walkers to 18 months â Thursdays, 10:30 to 11:30 am beginning January 27
These groups run for ten weeks and the cost is $25.
Gym Time will begin on Wednesday, January 26, from 10 am to noon; the cost is $30.
Moms of Multiples will begin Friday, January 28, and will meet monthly at the Meeting House from 10 to 11 am. There is no charge for this group.

Parent Programs
Newtown Parent Connection â The next Parent Connection forum on Wednesday, January 19, at 7 pm, in the Newtown Middle School auditorium will feature substance abuse expert Wendy Davenson. Ms Davensonâs presentation, âThe Impact of Family Dynamics on Children and Their Behavior,â will discuss how family dynamics affect the entire family. Topics covered will include family communication, parental arguing/loving, parental substance abuse/use, and parents who cannot parent as a team. Hope and Support Group â Parents with questions or concerns about your childâs possible or confirmed involvement with substances are invited to attend the Hope and Support group. It meets Mondays from 7:30 to 9:30 pm in the Parentsâ Corner. All are welcome.
Youth Programs
Super Sitters â January/February class is full. March dates coming soon!
HSYAB â Will meet on Monday, January 31 at 5:30 pm
MSYAB â Will meet on Wednesday, January 19, from 2:15 to 3:15 pm. We will begin work on our âbunniesâ project.
NYCAAP â An AIDS awareness group for high school students; meets Wednesdays at 7:30 pm.
NOSUDS â Will meet on Mondays from 6:30 to 7:30 pm.
Children of Divorce â Grades 1 through 6, meets first and third Monday of the month. Due to scheduling conflict, the January 24 meeting is postponed.
This is an interactive group using tools such as art therapy and games. Please call for further information.
SibShops â Grades 1 through 6. Usually meets the last Monday of the month from 5 to 7 pm. The next meeting will be January 31 and is ongoing through May.
There is no fee for either Children of Divorce or SibShops.
