Lauren Schaniel: âMy cell phone has definitely made my life easier, and safer. Itâs great to use to check in with family.â
Evan Batzer: âIf you are lost, or you need a ride home after school, itâs really easy to use your cell phone without having to ask someone in an office to use theirs, or having to use a pay phone.â
Ashley Rothacker: âI think cell phones are essential to keep in contact with people in case of an emergency.â
Lauren Joy: âI think cell phones have made life more complicated in some ways, but easier in others. They are definitely convenient to have, but there are a lot of restrictions. Cell phones are not allowed to be on in school because of how distracting they can be. Cell phones can be [intrusive].â
Judith Corrigan: âI love my cell! I was a latecomer to the entire thing, and now, I donât think I could live without them! They are very good to have to keep in close contact with family, like when I need to reach my kids to know where they are.â
Chris Steimle: âI think they are really convenient to have. They can keep you safe. For example, I skate on the pond at my friendâs house a lot, and you have to be careful because of the thin ice. I always carry my cell on me [in those times].â
