Gardner Named TAB Facilitator
Gardner Named TAB Facilitator
Larry Gardner of Newtown has been named Western Connecticut facilitator for The Alternative Board (TAB), an organization that offers business advice to small- to medium-size business.
TAB brings business owners, chief executive officers and presidents of noncompeting businesses together in boards, creating a confidential âthink-tankâ atmosphere. The boards consist of up to 12 members who meet monthly under the guidance of a TAB-certified facilitator.
TAB boards will meet monthly in the western Connecticut area. Mr Gardner also will provide private one-on-one business coaching to each board member. Under his guidance, the board members will learn from each other and create new business solutions.
âItâs the difference between theoretical advice and real life experiences,â said Mr Gardner, who has more than 25 years of business and management experience. âYou will learn from other peopleâs experiences, rather than reinventing the wheel. The key to the membersâ business success stems from other successful business ownersâ advice.â
More than 300 TAB boards are operating each month across the United States, Canada, and South America. Since its inception, thousands of businesses have benefited from membership in TAB.
To introduce the benefits of TAB, informational meetings will be held in Danbury from January 25 through February 1. There is no commitment nor cost for attending. Seating is limited. To reserve a place, call Larry Gardner in Newtown at 364-9039.
