DUI Charge

Police report they charged motorist Andrew Brackett, 44, of Monroe on January 9 with driving under the influence and with failure to keep to the right on a curve following a motor vehicle accident.

After processing the arrest, police released Brackett on $200 bail for an upcoming arraignment in Danbury Superior Court.

Larceny

Police said they arrested David Champagne, 36, of Bridgeport on a warrant on January 11, lodging charges of sixth degree larceny and attempted sixth degree larceny. The charges stem from an incident that occurred in January 2004, at a Commerce Road business, police said. Champagne was arraigned on the charges on January 11 in Danbury Superior Court, police said.
