Dr Arena Joins Southbury Pediatrics

SOUTHBURY — Southbury Pediatrics, a practice of the Danbury Office of Physician Services, PC, at 22 Old Waterbury Road, announced the addition of  Marina Arena, MD, of Newtown to the staff.

Dr Arena will serve children and families in association with Susan Beris, MD, medical director.  She also was appointed to the Danbury Hospital Department of Pediatrics and is eligible to be certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.

Dr Arena earned her medical degree cum laude with distinction in research from Albany Medical College in Albany, N.Y., and completed her residency at the Schneider Children’s Hospital, in New Hyde Park, N.Y., where she earned a research and scholarly performance award.

She earned her bachelor’s degree summa cum laude in biology from The College of Saint Rose in Albany.
