Martha Ann Heyde, 70, of Montgomery, Texas, died January 7. She was born to Ethel and Karl Hauenstein, in Mahopac, N.Y., January 30, 1943.

She married John Heyde in 1990, and they lived together in Sandy Hook and New Milford, before relocating to Montgomery in 2002.

Ms Heyde was an accountant and office manager until she retired in 2008, and continued to use her accounting skills in a volunteer capacity with her church and chorus group.

She was an active member of April Sound Church and The Woodlands Show Chorus. She was passionate about our military, her singing, her friends, and her dogs.

Her husband of 23 years, John Heyde; four children, Ann Heyde of Sandy Hook, Russ and Randy Gunther of The Woodlands, Texas, Rick Gunther of Deerfield, Ill., and six grandchildren survive Ms Heyde.

Visitation hours are at 6 pm, Friday, January 17, at April Sound Church in Montgomery. The memorial service will take place at April Sound Church, Saturday, January 18, at 11 am.
