Watercolor Classes

The Society of Creative Arts of Newtown is offering a one-day workshop in acrylic painting. Professional artist Anda Styler of New Milford will teach the class, on Saturday, February 5, from 9:30 pm to 3 pm.

It will be conducted at Newtown Meeting House, 31 Main Street in Newtown (at the flagpole). Cost is $35 and space is limited.

A class in watercolor painting by Richard Ochs is being offered on Thursday evenings beginning January 27. These classes will also be held at Newtown Meeting House.

The evening watercolor classes taught by Mr Ochs, of Newburgh, N.Y., will meet for three weeks. Classes will run from 6:30 until 9:30 pm each week.  This series of class is $45 per person.

It is not necessary to be a member of SCAN to sign up for either of these classes. Pre-registration is necessary. Call Ruth Newquist at 426-6654 for information or to register.
