Joseph N. DelVecchio

Joseph N. DelVecchio, 82, of Trumbull, a retired machinist for the Bullard Company, died on January 11, in his residence.

He was the father of Douglas J. DelVecchio of Newtown.

Born in Bridgeport, he was a son of the late John and Mary (Sciarrillo) DelVecchio, and was a Trumbull resident for 48 years. He was a member of the Bullard Company Quarter Century Club.

Survivors also include his beloved wife of 58 years, Sadye (Caldana) DelVecchio; a brother, Amadeo DelVecchio of Bridgeport; a sister, Phyllis Ruta of Stratford; a sister-in-law, Lucille Baratz of Monroe; two grandchildren, Douglas Alex and Megan DelVecchio; and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St Theresa’s Church, 5301 Main Street, Trumbull on Friday, January 14, at 9 am. Private interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Newtown. There are no calling hours.

Arrangements are entrusted to Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
