Frank R.     Moritz, Jr

Frank R. Moritz, Jr, 38, of Stratford, beloved son of Marilyn (Dam) Moritz, of Newtown, and the late Frank R. Moritz, Sr, died January 11 in his home.

He was the brother of Susan Leninger of Newtown.

A lifetime Stratford resident, Mr Moritz was born August 23, 1961, in Bridgeport. He was a parishioner of St James Church, and graduated from St James School and Stratford High School. He was vice president of United Allied Roofing and Waterproofing, Local 12, New Haven.

In addition to his mother and sister, he is survived by two other sisters, Tina White of Easton and Mary Ellen Casey of Stratford; eight nieces and nephews, Gregory, Jill Marie, Jefferey and Christopher White, John and Niall Casey and Paul Leninger, II; a special friend, Ann Vaccaro of East Haven; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Friends are invited to attend the funeral service on Friday, January 14 at 9:30 am in the William R. McDonald Funeral Home, 2591 Main Street, Stratford and at 10:30 am in St James Roman Catholic Church, Stratford for a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial, celebrated by Father Frank Winn. Interment will follow in St Michael’s Cemetery, Stratford.

Calling hours were scheduled for Thursday, January 13, from 4 to 8 pm.
