Booth Library, January 25
Lillinonah Audubon Society will host Jay Kaplan, director of Roaring Brook Nature Center, who will offer a free public program on snakes at C.H. Booth Library on Thursday, January 25, Mr Kaplan will introduce the audience to this fascinating animal group.
Mr Kaplan will also try to alleviate the fears and clarify misconceptions that people may have concerning snakes. (Please note: There will not be any venomous snakes at this program.)
Refreshments served at 7:30 pm, followed by Mr Kaplanâs program. It will be appropriate for all ages.
Anyone planning to attend should be in the library, using the door from the parking lock, by 8 pm as doors will automatically lock at that time.
