Nursing Open House Saturday

BRIDGEPORT — A Nursing Open House will be held at St Vincent’s Medical Center main lobby Saturday, January 13, from 9 am to 1 pm, for experienced RNs, graduate nurses, and student nurse techs.

The open house will provide information on career opportunities in various areas of the medical center and its affiliates especially OB/nursery, operating room, icu, cardiology, medical/surgical units, oncology, float nursing, psych and pediatric nursing.

In addition to St Vincent’s human resources staff members, the nurse-managers from the various areas will be at the open house as well to talk with interested nurses who attend. Representatives from Hall-Brooke Behavioral Health Services will also be available to discuss opportunities in psychiatric nursing, while St Vincent’s special needs staff members will inform attendees about openings in pediatric nursing.

Refreshments, raffles, tours of the medical center and free parking will also be available.
