Route 34 MVA

Police report a two-car accident at the intersection of Mile Hill Road and Route 34 about 3:30 pm January 10.

Police said motorist Victor Arnold, 40, of Waterbury, who was driving a 1995 Geo Prizm eastbound on Mile Hill Road, stopped at the traffic signal at the intersection and was waiting to turn right onto Route 34 when the Geo was struck from behind by a 1989 Ford Mustang driven by Jeffrey Baldasare, 18, of Southbury.

There were no injuries. Police verbally warned Baldasare for following too closely.
