Hot Flashes And Sleep

New Milford — On Monday, January 28, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm, sleep medicine specialist Ganesh Natarajan, MD, and gynecologist John Sussman, MD, will discuss “Menopause, Hot Flashes & A Good Night’s Sleep” in the Robinson Conference Rooms at New Milford Hospital, 21 Elm Street.

Women have unique needs to maintain good health. Adequate and fulfilling sleep is a key component to staying well and living a productive and fulfilling life. Menopausal women experience a drastic change in hormonal function and may experience less satisfying and decreased amounts of sleep, as well as night sweats, sleep apnea, and a myriad of other hormonal issues that interfere with sleep.

Join Drs Natarajan and Sussman as they discuss the dynamics of sleep and menopause. Their presentation provides valuable information on diagnosis and treatment options that can help women experience the restful sleep they need and deserve.

Prior to the presentation, Dr Natarajan will provide a quick tour of the New Milford Hospital Center for Sleep Medicine. The tour begins at 6:30 pm and the lecture at 6:45.

This program is free, open to the public, and refreshments will be served. Preregistration is requested by calling 800-350-1595 or online at www.newmilfordhospital.org.
