MONROE â Children visiting Monroe Public Library Childrenâs Department this winter can travel the world on the last Thursday of each month.
Ima Gomez will present stories, food and crafts from around the world for children in grades one through three beginning Thursday, January 27 at 4:15. Each 45-minute program will feature a different country.
In-person registration is required at the Childrenâs Library, within Monroe Public Library at 7 Fan Hill Road.
The programs are free of charge and meet accessibility requirements for the disabled. Those needing special accommodations should contact the library at least two weeks prior to the program date to make arrangements. Call the Childrenâs Department at 452-5459 for more information.
