Pauline (Sabol) Beck

Pauline “Paula” (Sabol) Beck of Stratford died on January 8 in Mediplex of Milford Health Care Center. She was the widow of Christian Beck.

 She was the sister of Katherine Pekar and Frank Sabol, Sr of Sandy Hook.

Born in Stratford, she was a resident of Huntington and Fairfield before moving back to Stratford 30 years ago. Mrs Beck was a retired employee of Dresser Industries with 43 years of service, where she was a member of the Quarter Century Club, and a member of the Women’s Auxiliary of the Raymond Goldbach Post 9460 VFW and the Baldwin Center Seniors.

She is also survived by another brother and two sisters, Mary Marcin of Fairfield, Edward Sabol of Massapequa Park, N.Y., and Helen Potak of Stratford; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held on January 12 in the Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Place, Stratford, with the Rev Guido Montanaro officiating. Interment followed in Lakeview Cemetery.
