Anna Luckner

Anna Luckner, 82, of Monroe, died January 8 at Maefair Health Care Center. She was the widow of Jesse. A. Luckner, Jr.

She was the mother of Frank Reiff of Botsford.

She was born in Schweinfurt, Germany, and was a resident of Monroe for 50 years. Mrs Luckner retired from the Monroe School System after 18 years.

She is also survived by four daughters, Dolores Luckner of Monroe, Anna Baldwin of Ansonia, Carol McAdams of Escondido, Calif., and Melanie Szarmach of Derby; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; close friend and sister-in-law, Thelma Luckner of Danbury; four nephews and one niece. Also surviving are a brother, Hans Fleckenstein of Germany; and two sisters, Ermgard Erdmann of Germany and Rose Langenbucher of Mission Viejo, Calif.

Funeral services were held on January 11 at the Lesko-Miner Funeral Home, 155 Main Street (Route 25) in Monroe.
