State Representative Mitch Bolinsky and Senator Tony Hwang will cohost a legislative town hall to discuss key issues facing the state of Connecticut.

The event is planned for Sunday, January 12, beginning at noon, at Newtown Community Center, 8 Simpson Street.

Bolinsky and Hwang are planning to spend 90 minutes with constituents, who will be invited to ask questions about the state legislature’s upcoming session and discuss legislative priorities with their elected representatives.

The topics may include the state budget and taxes, public safety, housing reform, the environment, transportation safety and efficiency, artificial intelligence, seniors and elder care, utility costs, and more.

The event is free and open to the public.
