Mr & Mrs Thomas Fitzpatrick IV

Former Newtown resident Sheila O’Connor, currently of Westlake, Ohio, married Thomas James Fitzpatrick IV, also of Westlake, on August 9, 2008, at The Darby House in Galloway, Ohio. Anne Hagler officiated the ceremony, which was followed by a reception at the same location. The bride’s former clarinet teacher, Theresa Dolak of New Fairfield, performed for the couple during their marriage ceremony.

The bride is a daughter of Michael E. O’Connor and Janice Phelan of Newtown. She was given into marriage by her father.

The groom is the son of Jacqueline and Lance Roberts of Pataskala, Ohio, and Thomas James Fitzpatrick of Las Vegas, Nev.

For her wedding day, Sheila selected a strapless A-line ivory-colored dress and carried a bouquet of baccarat and cream-colored roses with mango calla lilies.

Her sister, Meghan O’Connor of Kansas City. Mo., was maid of honor. She wore a strapless black knee-length dress and carried mango calla lilies, black baccarat roses, and hypernicum berries.

The bridesmaids, who wore dresses and carried bouquets that matched those of the maid of honor, were Lisa Fellows of Cleveland; Walker Roberts of Pataskala, Ohio; and Kate Gessler of Cleveland Heights, Ohio.

Eric Roberts of Los Angeles served as best man. The ushers were Daniel O’Connor of Boston, Adam Kunst, also of Boston, Brett Boles of Brookfield, Brandon West of Twinsburg, Ohio, and David E. Gee, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

Mrs Fitzpatrick is a graduate of Newtown High School, and also of The College of Wooster, from which she graduated with cum laude honors. She is a music teacher at Sandusky Central Catholic School.

Mr Fitzpatrick graduated from Bonanza High School, The College of Wooster, and also Cleveland Marshall College of Law, cum laude. He is a policy analyst at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland.

Following a honeymoon at Hocking Hills, Ohio, the couple returned to their home in Westlake.
