Rosemary Keating Baye

Rosemary Keating Baye, 80, beloved wife of Stephen E. Baye of Trumbull, died December 25 in Bridgeport Hospital. Mrs Baye was born in Bay Shore, L.I., N.Y., the daughter of George and Rose Malley Keating.

She resided in Bridgeport and Fairfield and for the last 14 years lived in Trumbull. Mrs Baye was a secretary at Fairfield College Preparatory School for 20 years and retired in 1983.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by four sons, Stephen M. Baye and his wife Alice of Newtown, Clinton E. Baye and his wife Sheryl of Trumbull, David A. Baye and his wife Susan of Shelton, and Robert G. Baye of Trumbull; five grandchildren, Carrie Baye, Kathleen Baye, Meaghan Baye, Bryanne Baye, and Dean Baye; a brother-in-law Ted Appelberg; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her sister, Jean Appelberg.

A funeral was held December 29 in Christ the King Church, Trumbull with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be private. Arrangements were by the Redgate-Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull.
