Three Sex Offenses
After learning that police held a warrant for her arrest, Danielle Danka, 18, of 1 Crown View Drive turned herself over to police at the police station about 7:30 am January 6 and was charged with three sex offenses.
Danka was charged with second-degree sexual assault, risk of injury to a child, and illegal sexual contact. Danka allegedly had inappropriate sexual contact with a person under age 16, according to police. All three pending charges are felonies.
The crimes allegedly occurred last November 4 and were reported to police on November 24.
Police declined to disclose specifics of the case. The warrant application that lists the reasons why police arrested Danka has been sealed by the court, according to police.
After Danka turned herself over to police, they held her on $25,000 bail for arraignment January 6 in Danbury Superior Court.
At her arraignment, Danka did not enter pleas to the charges. She was released from custody on $10,000 bail for a January 20 court appearance.
