You may drop in at the Senior Center weekdays between 9 am and 4 pm. A hot meal is served at noon, for which you must reserve three days in advance.
Newtown has daily door-to-door minibus service Monday through Friday. Buses also run all day from the Senior Center to Sand Hill Plaza. On Fridays, the bus alternates between rides to Danbury Fair Mall and Berkshire Plaza in Danbury (to Walmart Route 6). Cost is 65¢ each way for the Sand Hill Plaza trip, 75¢ each way for out of town. *Depart at 9:45 am on Friday, February 12, for New York City for lunch at Bossa Nova restaurant and a visit to Discovery Times Square Exposition to view âTitanic: The Artifact Exhibition.â Receive your replica-boarding pass and assume the role of a real passenger as you journey through the Titanic. Cost is $78.

*Overnight at MOHEGAN SUN on January 28 and 29, which includes two buffets or choice of food coupons, hotel accommodations, and $20 free bet. Depart at 8 am; cost is $109 per person, double; $169, single; and $104, triple.
*Watch UCONN WOMENâS BASKETBALL at Syracuse and try a little luck on an overnight at Turning Stone Casino after a breakfast buffet at Seasonâs Harvest on Wednesday and Thursday, February 24â25. Cost is $179 double, $239 single, $174 triple.
*Depart at 8:30 am on April 28 and 29 for a SINATRA TRIBUTE at Mount Haven Resort in Milford, Penn., which includes a welcome party with hors dâoeuvres, a five-course meal, and live entertainment featuring Joe Amato as Frank Sinatra. Spend the night in a Jacuzzi suite equipped with a fireplace. On the second day, enjoy a full breakfast buffet and then depart to Monticello Gaming & Raceway. A complete gala buffet lunch and complimentary glass of wine or beer is included. Cost is $189 for doubles, $245 for singles, and $185 for triples.
