Robert James Santore, 42, of Sandy Hook, died January 2. He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Lorraine Santore; a son, Geoffrey; a daughter, Ashely; his mother, Mary Lou of Seymour; father, John and stepmother, Grace, of Edison; a brother, John of Derby; and sister, Amy Brooks and her husband, Bill, their three children of Beacon Falls; and two dogs, Pepe and Jameson.
Mr Santore was a 1990 graduate of CCSU and a MBA graduate from Sacred Heart University. As one of five partners of Benchmark Search Group, he became one of the most effective and trusted financial recruiters in the industry. Prior to forming Benchmark Search Group, he spent seven years with a leading international placement firm where he consistently finished in the âtop tenâ rankings of producers worldwide.
He was a simple man who enjoyed gardening, cars, music, and most importantly, time with his children. He was loved and respected by many friends. His warm heart and joyful spirit inspired many. He will be loved always and never forgotten by those who knew him.
Funeral services were January 6. Burial was at the Resurrection Cemetery in Newtown.
