Jennie M. Orrico

A Loving Friend To All

Jennie M. (DeSalvo) Orrico, Southbury, formerly of Monroe and Cos Cob, died December 25 at Bethel Health Care Center. She was the wife of the late Peter A. Orrico, Jr. She was born November 16, 1922, in Stamford, daughter of Vita (Perniciaro) and Joseph DeSalvo.

She leaves four children, including Ronald J. Orrico and his wife, Christine, of Sandy Hook; a sister; nine grandchildren; four great-granddaughters; and several loving nieces and nephews.

Mrs Orrico was a retired bookkeeper, having worked for Stone Construction Company in Southbury for many years. She was a member of the Italian Renaissance Club, the Southbury Friendly Visitors Program, and the Meadowlarks Group at Grace Meadows. She was also a volunteer for the Salvation Army and an avid pinochle player.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated December 30.
