Area AARP        To Meet

BETHEL — The monthly meeting of Area Chapter 2449, American Association of Retired Persons, will be at 1 pm, January 23, in the Bethel Municipal Building on School Street.

After a brief business meeting the speaker will be Kathleen Gillen, Bethel’s municipal agent. Her topic will be how AARP can be involved in the community. Refreshments will be served and all are welcome. Members are reminded to pay their dues for the year 2001. For more information call 740-1967.
