Social Marketing Guru Speaking At Networking Forum
Social Marketing Guru Speaking At Networking Forum
The Working Womenâs Forum, an association of local professionals and entrepreneurs will feature âAppreciation Marketing Campaigns and Building Business Through Customer Retention,â by Tara R. Alemany, owner of Aleweb Social Marketing.
A small business owner in the past, Ms Alemany is uniquely well suited to understanding the challenges faced by business owners who are trying to effectively compete with limited resources. Learn why it costs less to sell to an existing customer.
According to Ms Alemany, 69 percent of current customers leave a business due to perceived indifference, while 20 percent of a companyâs customers will generate 80 percent of its sales.
Learn how to use appreciation marketing to establish and maintain connections with existing customers, and discover ways to have repeat sales and referrals through people who know you rather than someone new.
The program will be held Wednesday, January 12, at The Villa Restaurant, 4 Riverside Road in Sandy Hook. Networking begins at 6 pm including appetizers, followed by the guest speaker.
For reservations call 203-426-7022 or e-mail rsvp@workingwomensforum.net. The program and dinner fee will be $10 for members, and $15 for nonmembers, with a cash bar.
The group will be accepting canned food, personal health, and beauty items for the Newtown Food Pantry.
