A Generous Community

To the Editor:

As president of the Newtown Junior Women’s Club, I’d like to thank our Newtown Community for all their generous donations toward this year’s Tag-A-Gift Toy program.

As many of you know, every year NJWC works in conjunction with The Newtown Fund to provide toys and other gifts for less fortunate Newtown families. We were able to help over 75 families this year with your donations. Ruth Brassard, NJWC club treasurer, coordinated this year’s event along with many other club members who participated in making this event successful.

We are truly grateful for the community’s warmth, open hearts, and generosity! It really made a difference in helping out those families in need.
